§ 7. Internet analytics and marketing techniques

  1. Based on the cookie technology, we perform a behavioural analysis of how you and other users use the Application, which is a basis for compiling statistics. The analyses are aimed at improving the Application, making it more user-friendly and improving the sales of Virtual Values. The statistics generated should not lead to you being identified as a specific person.
  2. We may also use the analysis of your use of the Application to make automated decisions about whether to apply specific marketing measures to you, such as displaying a specific message to you (e.g., a promotion to purchase Virtual Values), or encouraging you to take specific actions (e.g., liking the Application page on Facebook).
  3. In addition to the analytical tools that we have developed ourselves and that are under our control, we also use the following tools from third parties:
    1. Google Analytics – an analytical tool provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, which automatically collects data on the Internet locations from which users came to the Application, how users use the Application, and creates statistics that help us optimise the construction of the Application and improve its promotion. While our use of this tool may involve the transfer of your data to the United States, Google LLC has joined the Privacy Shield Program, which means that the European Commission has determined that this entity provides the level of protection of personal data required by law within the European Union. In your browser's cookie settings, you may choose that Google Analytics should not be used in your case. You can read about the detailed scope of data processing at the following address: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245
    2. AppsFlyer – a tool provided by AppsFlyer Ltd. based in the United States, 141 5th Avenue Suite 9 New York, NY 10010, dedicated to the analysis of user behaviour in mobile applications. 4. Based on the cookie technology, we may also target personalised advertising to you, or analyse your behaviour to display advertising to users similar to you in terms of certain statistical characteristics. For this purpose, we use the Pixel tool. This is a tool provided by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave. Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, which automatically collects data about users' use of the Application in order for the Controller to direct personalised Facebook advertisements (i.e. based on their behaviour in the Application) to them. We use the Pixel tool to display our advertisements to Facebook and Instagram users who have expressed an interest in our content (such as visiting our website or one of our pages or groups on Facebook) or who have features that may indicate a potential interest in the Application (such as specific interests). Using the Pixel tool, we also create so-called groups of similar recipients (people who have statistically similar characteristics to our existing recipients or users of the Application) to whom we display our advertisements. Pixel also allows us to measure the effectiveness of ads placed on Facebook (e.g. by measuring conversions). Facebook can also use the data described above (e.g. about your visit to our website) independently of us for its own purposes, and can also assign your usage data to previously collected data about you. While your use of this tool may involve the transfer of your data to the United States, Faceook Inc. has joined the Privacy Shield Program, which means that the European Commission has determined that this entity provides the level of protection of personal data required by law within the European Union. In your browser's cookie settings, you may choose that Pixel should not be used in your case. You can also manage your privacy settings on your Facebook profile. You can read about the detailed scope of data processing at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation and https://www.facebook.com/business/help/651294705016616.
